Visit to Jianghan University

A delegation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the North Carolina Education Alliance visited Jianghan University

On December 18 , a delegation of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, including Dr. Andrew Hamilton, Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Maria Anastasio, Vice President of Global Engagement , and Ms. Fan Wenjia, Project Manager of the North Carolina Education Alliance, visited the university . Jianghan University's Vice President, Li Weidong, met with the guests, and relevant persons in charge from the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, the School of Foreign Languages, and the School of Education attended the talks.

Li Weidong welcomed the visit of the delegation of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the North Carolina Education Alliance. He briefly introduced the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides and hoped to have in-depth discussions on specific cooperation matters to further promote the interaction between the two sides in education, teaching, scientific research, and cultural exchanges, provide teachers and students with a broader international perspective and learning opportunities , and take substantive steps to achieve common development goals.

Andrew Hamilton introduced the basic situation and advantageous majors of the school , and expressed his hope to continue to strengthen cooperation with our school to achieve win-win results. Maria Anastasio introduced the curriculum of the cooperative project in detail, and hoped that the two sides could jointly cultivate talents with international vision and professional skills through in-depth cooperation, and contribute to the internationalization of education for both sides .
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Jianghan History Museum and the Language Learning Center, and gained an in-depth understanding of Jianghan's development history, educational achievements, and advanced teaching facilities.
